OUR HISTORY

After 30 years of experience with some of the best law firms in Baltimore, Joseph Bellinger has launched his own law firm.  Mr. Bellinger administered over 15,500 cases as a bankruptcy trustee in 20 years of service as a Chapter 7 Trustee appointed by the U.S. Trustee for the District of Maryland, Baltimore Division.  Mr. Bellinger is  highly respected by the bankruptcy professionals and Bankruptcy Judges in Maryland.  Mr. Bellinger primarily represents small to mid-sized businesses and individuals facing financial distress.  As a skilled trial lawyer, Mr. Bellinger also serves clients in litigation matters in state and federal courts in Maryland.

MEET OUR CAPTAIN

Joseph J. Bellinger serves as counsel and an adviser to businesses, often family-owned, confronted with financial distress or other challenges, such as succession planning or equity buy-outs. Joe represents businesses and individuals who are debtors in bankruptcy proceedings, as well as all types of creditors, and all parties in interest in bankruptcy cases.  Joe is a skilled trial attorney, mediator, and advocate for  clients in federal and state courts. He served as a Chapter 7 Bankruptcy Trustee for over 20 years for the Baltimore Division of the District of Maryland, administering over 15,500 Chapter 7 cases and distributing tens of millions of dollars to creditors.   Prior to attending law school, Joe taught U.S. History and English and coached football and boys' track at McDonough High School in Charles County, Maryland.
